The inspiration for my work is in a set of discreet observations of human behavior within the context of a daily life composed of minor actions.
Such actions provide the opportunity to pinpoint a key-frame, some sort of essential imagery of common existence.
I then take pleasure in transforming such minor actions into tales of emotion by re-framing them over dimensions that help make better sense of their occurrence in the world.
Born in Marina di Massa Italy in 1947, lives and works in Turin. Began his professional career at some of the best advertising agencies in Turin.
Italo Cammarata, begins its carried out artistic activity in the design, illustration, publicity and painting in 1971.
He collaborates as designer, over time, with various important Japanese and European companies.
These activities earned him, in 1984, the prestigious international design award "Compasso d'Oro" conferred by Industrial Design Association, with the project "Tender", a super compact, lightweight and foldable motorcycle.
